Key Takeaways
  • The Finance Basics series has been a grueling but rewarding writing experience.

  • Stay tune for the release of the Time Hacks posts!

  • We still have a lot of things in store in the future when it comes to content!

Time seems to fly by these days, especially when you’re busy, and with so much happening in the world, it can be challenging to keep track of everything. So, let me bring you up to speed.

We’ve just completed the first phase of our Financial Basics series, which took an entire month to lay the groundwork. It was quite tiring, as writing educational financial posts requires a significant amount of skill and effort. And even as a business graduate actively involved in the investment scene, particularly in crypto, I found it challenging to write about financial concepts.

With the series, I want to ensure that the definitions and explanations are accurate because the content is intended to build a solid foundation for financial knowledge. We definitely don’t want to get that wrong. Most of the posts focus on investments, and I want readers to be well-informed and prepared to grow their money.

Now, TFMMT isn’t just about making money; it’s also part of my mission to help people save time. This June, we’re shifting our focus from basic financial articles to time-saving tips with our new series called Time Hacks. This series will cover the fundamentals of saving time, time management tips, and ways to boost productivity, all with a fresh twist.

To keep our content diverse, we will also be introducing different types of articles to support our existing posts, which have become a bit stale. As the site grows, we need to ensure that our offerings remain fresh and engaging!

Lastly, as you might expect, we plan to include more articles about saving money—the final piece of our site’s core trio. I’m still brainstorming a catchy name for that series, so if you have any suggestions, please feel free to share.

There’s a lot more to discuss, but we can save that for another time. For now, let’s take a look at my recommended videos and posts for this month.

Blog Posts

Here are some of the posts we have diligently worked on this month. As I mentioned in the introduction, this has been a challenge for us, as I made every effort to avoid suggesting or implying bad financial advice—I’m not even legally allowed to provide good advice!

We also aimed to maintain a neutral tone, which has been difficult since much of my writing over the past year has been encouraging and motivational. It’s easy to come across as overly positive, but that approach isn’t appropriate for technical financial writing. We understand that investing carries significant risks and involves legal considerations.

In the end, being careful with my writing has been draining, but thankfully, my team has been a tremendous help in identifying potential issues. Kudos to us!

TFMMT Team Corner

Meeting and making friends often feels like it’s written in the stars. But what about building a solid team that you want to retire with? I’m not sure if that’s just good fortune in recruitment or if our fates are truly intertwined.

Haha, I’m just rambling! Now, let’s get to the usual!

“Our stats are gradually improving again—slowly but surely. Doubling our efforts is clearly paying off. Should we consider tripling our efforts this time?”

Newsletter—Done!

I’m finally getting the hang of this newsletter thing! At first, I struggled with what to write and spent hours brainstorming. Now, it doesn’t take me long at all—I can breeze through it. However, I can’t help but wonder: is it even that good? I find myself doubting my work.

But enough with the negativity! Let’s end on a positive note. We’re doing well, and we will continue to do so tomorrow, the next day, and hopefully until the day we can proudly say to the world that it’s been a fun journey.

That’s it for now—see you next time!

By the way, thanks to Maddi Bazzocco for the nice featured image that we have!
