Key Takeaways
  • June and July were extremely busy for me and the team. The July 4 celebrations helped us recharge.

  • Our social media accounts are thriving! It's fun to engage there, and we hope to see you join us!

  • We encountered some issues with the site's speed and performance, but they were quickly resolved.

Another long month has passed, and I feel overwhelmed with work. I really need to take some time to relax. Thankfully, July 4th came around, giving me a few days to unwind and enjoy some fireworks. It was a fantastic time spent with friends and family.

I truly needed that break, as I was starting to feel burned out. Work has been stressful, and the news has added to that stress, especially with the recent coverage of San Francisco’s current state. It’s been quite different, and I realized I was somewhat unaware of what was happening in certain parts of the city.

Sadly, my routine has been all about going to work, then heading to my second job, and finally going home. I hardly have time to explore and see what’s going on around me. So much for being someone who advocates for efficient time management, right?

But that’s exactly why I’m here—to remind myself of the importance of balance. I know how overwhelming life can get when you’re too busy! I could spend less time on my blog and social media to free up some time, but that would make me a bit sad, and I don’t want to do that.

There’s so much to do, and this serves as a lesson for me. I need to relax more, be aware of my surroundings, and practice what I preach! With that said, let me get into the usual stuff!

Blog Posts

This month has been the first time I can breathe easy with the blog, and I hope I don’t jinx it. We’re back on track, and it seems we’re heading in the right direction.

Thanks to the series we launched, it’s been much easier to explore topics without worrying about providing the necessary information our readers need to understand my points. These series have also helped us improve how we reference external sites.

In terms of content, we’ve focused on topics related to family and teens looking to manage their finances—subjects that are close to my heart. I hope to return to more personal posts in the future, similar to what I used to write before Google’s algorithm discouraged that style.

Anyway, here are my latest posts!

TFMMT Team Corner

Each team member was laser-focused on their tasks. Despite facing their own challenges, they managed to accomplish everything needed for us to push through. I had to match their energy to avoid being the odd one out!

Anyway, here’s the latest update from them!

“I spent a lot of time on my site talking to bots and dealing with marketers. Social media can be a daunting place. It’s challenging to distinguish between real people and fake accounts, but I’m improving at it!”
